Notes:
I was unable to find who played on Beck's day/stage of this 2-day festival, beyond Metallica.
The FM broadcast of this show did not include the first song, "Novacane," but is otherwise complete.; Great recording, probably the best one of the summer.; Performance feels spotty to me, but is overall a fun one...this was an underrated band of really talented musicians.; "The New Pollution" / "Get Real Paid" / "Minus" triple combo is cool, with lots of energy.; Beck's electric guitar is consistently a highlight of this show, from the solo on "Paper Tiger" to the whole of "Loser"; The "Loser" is especially great, because it spices things up again after a shitty harmonium version of "Nobody's Fault."; Beck asks the crowd to visualize naked dolphins, before turning "Hotwax" into a crazy harmonica jam.; "Beercan" has a bunch of one-line rap ad-libs in it, including a shout out to Big Baby Jesus.;
