After playing Madison Square Garden in New York, that same night Beck and his band (Joey, Jason, JMJ, Roger, Ian) went over to The Mulberry (a bar in NYC) and rocked out in a little party. A lot of celebs were in the audience and the evening even got written about in some gossip pieces.
Anyway, they played a lot of Beck's early rock songs, with the crowd pressed up next to them. At one point, Beck called over Jon Hamm, who sang The Cars "Just What I Needed" with them.
The band Gustaf played before them. Then afterwards, various musicians jammed in different configurations. Jon Hamm also sang a bunch of Doors songs with Jason Falkner and some other musicians. The setlist below is just what video clips show Beck was involved with though. (No idea what the correct order of the songs was either.)
First "Beercan" in five years. First "Minus" and "Mutherfuker" in seven.
