Notes:
A September 23, 1993 article in the LA Weekly focused on the frenzy around Beck after "Loser" had dropped (in July 1993). In it, they refer to a show at Al's Bar. There's no indication of the exact date, but I am assuming it was also in September (possibly August).
It mentions him "running through acoustic folk songs like 'Nitemare Hippy Girl,' 'Now You're Busting Out Some Weak-Assed Shit' and 'Satan Gave Me A Taco.'
It also describes Beck's drummer, Dallas Don, pouring rubbing alcohol over his cymbals and lighting them on fire. Similarly, "someone in a bunny suit ran up onstage and danced around."
"I know what you're waiting for," Beck told the audience. He pulled out "a huge ghetto blaster festooned with flashing lights and a disco ball" and played a "horribly overdriven backup tape" of 'Loser'. Beck rapped along to it, breakdanced during the instrumental, and "screamed incoherently at the end."
