Notes:
Beck wrote about their day off before this on the musicians' online blog:
"Day off in suburban Denver mallworld. Broiling hot. Hiked around steakhouse. K-mart supercenter. 40 min cab ride to anywhere.â€"
Similarly, Beck's entry in the Lollapalooza Tour Diaries book for this show:
"rockshow at fiddler's green. backstage pinball wizardry. saw thermos jogging with S7Ws. aftershow birthday cake with the invisible candles. clint black jukebox. catfish dinner. watched pavement out front. kid's were doing the colorado caljam maneuvers. 3rd show. left at 1 am."
Between songs 3 and 4 the crowd sings 'Happy Birthday' to Beck. Abby Travis (Beck's bassist) shouts "It's Beck birthday today!" and the crowd begins to sing. But they strangely just seem to do one line "Happy Birthday to you" and stop.
"Novacane" has a strange rap at the end of it about the "TB Blues" (an old blues song about tuberculosis).
